SUNDAY, JANUARY 21, 2007
hello, is this thing on?can anybody hear me?testing 1 2 3 hey everybody look at me, Im a blog.I’m not sure I belog here (pun intended)but I’m ready to join the future.for my first order of business I was hoping to announce some very special dates coming up,but now I’m told they may not happen after all.welcome to the music business. that’s why I turned to auctioneering.
Well, I left the world of estate agency & auctioneering, in my Father’s firm of Welch & Lock, to become a professional musician. Perhaps the way forward for P6 is Fripp & Belew, Online Auctioneers.
17.39 A day of stuff, packing, e-flurrying.
18.23 A call to Ade to assure him that, yes, his venturing into the Blogscape has been noticed; and a discussion of the very special dates that Ade was hoping to announce, but have now been cancelled. This was to be a short K3 tour, some 9-10 shows beginning in Madison & Chicago, then moving to the East Coast: Boston, NYC & Washington.
What is K3? Three Kings of Crimson: the Tony Levin Band, the Adrian Belew Power Trio & ProjeKct Six, each presenting their work & followed by a K3 Jam: Tony & Bobby & Belew with Drummer Slick, celebrating 2 or 3 Crim classics that get their passion ignited.
Why are the dates cancelled? Right in the middle of the short jaunt, TLev is booked for a festival in Mexico City; an artist advocate was waiting for final artist confirmations that didn’t quite connect; my concern that we didn’t have any rehearsal time at all. That is, communication disconnection.
Conceptually, K3 is comparable to The ProjeKcts as a way of lighting a fuse without self-detonation from terror. This is not King Crimson; nevertheless, the King is not far away either. And which particular three Ks are involved is also open. Well, that’s the concept.

Well-laden shelves…
Now, an evening at home with the Minx. Yippee!
